Step out of the circle of time
And into the circle of love.
— Rumi
Rumi invites us to step into the circle of love that ever spirals us towards our true core, our true being that seems to be hidden as our ‘circle of time’ holds us in a spiral of ‘doing’ things which seem important in our daily lives. But in our efforts to live and work to sustain our lives, we often miss the ‘circle of love’ or we too often step away from it and are whirled into a life of struggle and chaos.
Stepping into the circle of love in our deepest moments of pain and struggle takes towards a place where there is only love. This place is usually described as a place within us or in our heart space that we experience during meditation. Going within to our inner sanctuary, that we all have when we quiet our mind, relax our body and move deeper into our consciousness, does lead us to this circle of love that Rumi invites us to walk.
However, learning to walk the circle of love in our outer word brings harmony and peace into our daily life. We are all wanting this in our life. We pray for peace but Rumi says to step into the circle of love. This is a call to action that we have the opportunity to do each day, in each moment.
As we move into a circle of love, others, family, friends, co-workers, will notice. Sometimes people do not like us to change as we release our anger, our guilt, and regrets. They may understand anger, guilt and regrets all to well and can identify with your shadows. They often do not understand or identify with our new found joy of love especially in difficult times.
If we step into the circle of love, we can get to know about love. Are you ready to take the step of love, peace and compassion? If you are or you are already in your circle of love, you are witness to your life transforming and having new meaning. It is an exciting moment to take a new step away from old ways that do not work and experiencing the freshness and joy as you embrace a journey of love.
Enjoy your loving steps today!
Peacefully, Jane

Thank you Jane – I googled the Rumi poem. I heard it only once before. Your words are beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Paula Hynd, UK
Hi Paula, Thank you for visiting my blog and your kind words. I love these Rumi’s thoughts calling us to a circle of love. It is nice to know that someone in the UK is stepping into the circle with me! My husband is from the UK (Scotland) and my grandparents. We certainly need to join our hearts all around the globe with others during these strange and difficult times. I hope you will visit again or follow my blog and perhaps share it with others. Thank you. I am on Facebook under Jane Brown Robertson if you’d like to fb friends. And I have a In Silence, Discovering Self through Meditation page for my book on FB where I post inspirational thoughts or quotes from my book that you may enjoy. I so appreciate your comments. Peacefully, Jane
Now is the time for you and me to take a look around
There is a child who’s trying to hide, but longing to be found
Let the child come shining through, there’s nothing more to do
No reason now to shed a tear, now is the time it’s clear!
Blue skies forever and the green, green grass of Home
The gift of freedom waiting here
Within ourselves it’s clear
Now is the time
Now is the time
Now is the time
It’s clear!
Now is the time for peace and joy to flow across the land
Hearts uniting, now more fighting
People joining hands
Laughing, loving, caring sharing
Joy is everywhere
The dove’s descending, souls remembering
In Harmony we’re One!
Blue skies forever and the green, green grass of Home
The gift of freedom waiting here
Within ourselves it’s clear
Now is the time…. Now it the time!
This is such a lovely poem. I am sorry I have not thanked you earlier I just saw it posted today. Deep gratitude for your sharing it. Did you write I Guantita? May I share it with others? Blessings

Thanks for sharing Rumi’s poem it is most beautifully inviting us into the circle of love…what else is there except love? ❤
I am glad you are enjoying my posts Neena. I love your Haiku poetry and I posted your Autumn Haiku poems with reference to your name and Creative Inspirations on my facebook page. I tried your FB link from your site but it didn’t show up very well on FB so I wrote your poems on my timeline and added a fall picture. I’m sure my friends will love them! So nice to connect with a like minded soul. Peace and Love, Jane
